one too many goodbyes

Things became a little more real tonight when I had some of the most important people in my life all together in one room sending me off.  How frightening.  I'm feeling completely overwhelmed and I think it's just a bit too much to take in all at once. I won't believe it or feel it until my plane lifts off the ground. Then I think it will hit me.  For now - I refuse to feel sad or unhappy.  It is still a miracle that I am even going.
