from snow to sweltering heat

...this morning i woke up to the most beautiful snow fall outside my window. i know everyone here is probably sick of it and ready for spring and warmer weather but... i'm very pleased to have it be snowing on my last day in canada.

tonight i board yet another airplane to head into another situation filled with unknowns. i'm very excited for india. but nervous at the same time because i'm not sure how much i have left to give. i poured myself into africa and left behind the larger portion of my heart in that land. being home has been wonderful but certainly hasn't provided me with the time or environment that i needed to be able to process through the last 6 months in tanzania. i'm still trying to adjust to the fact that my sister is MARRIED!

i hope to take more scenic photos when i'm india. not just of women and babes. (as beautiful as they are).

keep me in your prayers. and consider giving to my last venture home at the end of my birth attendant school.  trying to raise $2,000 for my flight home in june.

There are a number of ways to give. If you want to help pay for the cost of my flight home from Perth, then you can do it here:
https://www.ywamperth.org.au/007/payonline.asp

Under school payment put birth attendant school and specify that it is for the cost of my flight.

Monthly giving or one time gifts can be done by mailing a cheque or through paypal online. Make the cheque out to me and mail it to my parent's address. 338 Cottonwood st, Orangeville ON, L9W4X7. For paypal, my email is bethanysteel@gmail.com.

Thanks everyone!

Continue to keep me in your prayers.
--Pray that we'll be able to start working at the government maternity hospital in Hyderabad right away with no delays.
--For good relationships with the hospital staff
--For opportunities for me to gain more skills and improve as a midwife.
--For a quick transition to a new country and culture!
--Good relationships on our team
